Wexton Votes to Pass Government Funding Packages

Legislation creates good-paying jobs, grows opportunity, and supports the vulnerable

Washington, DC -- Today, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) voted to pass H.R. 4502, a package of seven government funding bills, which focuses on investing in America. The transformative investments in the bill will create good-paying American jobs, grow opportunity for middle class and small businesses, and provide a lifeline for working families and the vulnerable.

In addition, Wexton voted to pass the State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs and the Legislative Branch funding bills through the House this week.

“This appropriations package invests in children and families, laying the groundwork for a strong and equitable recovery that meets the needs of every American family,” said Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton. “As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I've been a proud advocate for Virginia's priorities and community projects that will improve our district's infrastructure and transportation, community services, and workforce development. The federal support in this legislation will rebuild Virginia-10 roads and bridges, deliver robust support to our schools, support jobs and small businesses, and so much more.”
