In response to the historic passage of H.R.1, a massive voting rights, campaign finance, and ethics reform package, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton issued the following statement:

"Today's historic passage of the For the People Act is a watershed moment for our democracy. This legislation will ensure clean and fair elections, end the dominance of dark money in politics, and make certain that public officials work for the public interest.
