Wexton Statement on the Governor and First Lady of Virginia Testing Positive for COVID-19
On the news of the Governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, and First Lady of Virginia, Pamela Northam, testing positive for COVID-19, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) issued the following statement:
Washington, September 25, 2020
“My thoughts are with the Governor and First Lady and the member of their household staff who have tested positive for COVID-19. I wish them all good health and a speedy recovery.
“As the Governor said this morning, COVID-19 is very real and very contagious. It has not gone away and I continue to urge all Virginians to abide by public health guidelines, get tested if you’re experiencing symptoms or may have been exposed, and wear a mask.”
